Mrs. Degas

Over dit boek

Paris, 1912. Edgar Degas, the painter, has become blind. When he has to leave home, a young woman shows up to help organize his archives.

However, she is not who she claims to be and secretly reports on her visits, knowingly reminding Degas' memory of the one - and impossible - love of his life: his blind American niece Estelle, a Creole from New Orleans, which he painted while she was arranging flowers. To whom does she write these reports?
