Set In the future where global warming has caused drastic changes to the world. Technology has improved and almost every home has its own echo (humanlike androids) to do menial work. Main character Audrey's father is against the use of echoes and taught her to maintain her humanity.

But then she meets Daniel an echo who can actually feel. When Audrey finds herself in dangerous situation Daniel is determined to save her.
